As Medical Assistance in Dying continues to develop in Canada, Christians are facing increasingly difficult theological, pastoral and practical questions. How should we understand these changes through the lens of Scripture? How can churches respond faithfully and support people navigating these deeply personal decisions?

The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), in partnership with Penticton Alliance Church, invites you and your congregation to "A Matter of Life & Death", a free workshop presented by Dr. David Guretzki, EFC President and Resident Theologian. The workshop will take place on Sunday, October 4, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Penticton Alliance Church. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m. Dr. David will help participants understand how Canada’s MAiD laws have evolved, consider what Scripture says and explore how Christians and churches can respond. The workshop will also include an opportunity for participants to ask questions.

Coffee and light refreshments will be available before the workshop. Participants are also welcome to stay afterward for refreshments and informal conversation.  Advance registration is encouraged to save a spot and help us prepare sufficient materials. Walk-in registration will also be available.
